In line with the strategy of quarterly major updates, including significant improvements in performance, functionality, and introduction of new flagship technologies, UNIGINE has launched the 2.13 release, offering an impressive number of improvements and enhancements to the engine.

UNIGINE technologies have evolved over the past 15 years to meet the needs of the corporate sector, requiring maximum capabilities from a visualization point of view. With this experience under its belt, in April 2020 UNIGINE released a free Community Edition of the engine, aimed at 3D visualization technology enthusiasts and small projects.

The new release UNIGINE 2.13 includes the most useful enhancements for both corporate customers and indie developers: GPU Lightmapper tool, brand new SRAA (Subpixel Reconstruction Anti-Aliasing) technology, upgraded iconic 3D volumetric clouds, performance optimizations for vast forest rendering, a new iteration of the terrain generation tool with online GIS sources support, adaptive hardware tessellation, an improved Project Build tool, new samples, a new free 3D scans library and a huge list of other enhancements and features.

All three editions of the UNIGINE platform (Community, Engineering, and Sim) share the same core (UNIGINE 2 Engine) and are developed in parallel, with regular major releases every 3-4 months. The UNIGINE Community edition is free for small indie teams.

Detailed information about the new features in the UNIGINE 2.13 release is available at unigine.com.

Hi. Is there any way to get access to the 64 bit coordinate version of UNIGINE, without having to pay the big upfront costs? I have a planet voxel library which uses DirectX but I'd like to see if it can be ported to use a game engine. Thanks.
